UCAC has a track record of winning important cases for its members, and of campaigning to improve the pay and conditions of teachers and lecturers in Wales.
        With UCAC, help is at hand
UCAC’s full-time caseworkers are on hand to answer your questions and help solve your problems; they have access to a national network of lawyers who can help members when the need arises.

UCAC offers training for members, a Compensation Plan, a Financial Assistance Scheme, and lots more.
        Wales’s own education union
UCAC is the only education union that works specifically in Wales, has its headquarters in Wales, and operates though the medium of Welsh. We are not answerable – or subordinate – to an office elsewhere in the UK.
        An education system specific to Wales
UCAC is the only education union that’s campaigning for a Wales-specific education system, where all powers over education are devolved to the National Assembly for Wales.
        Development of the Welsh language in the education system
UCAC works constantly to ensure maintain and develop the status of Welsh within the education system, including the growth of the Welsh medium sector.
UCAC is a member of the Wales TUC which represents nearly half a million workers. UCAC is not support or fund any political party.
