County Societies
UCAC has 17 County Societies - some of them based on an amalgamation of Local Authorities. The three Field Officers are responsible for co-ordinating the work of the counties but each society also has its own officials.
Each County Society is represented on UCAC's National Executive and at the Annual Conference. By attending meetings of the County Societies members can play a key role in UCAC's democratic processes and can help to ensure that the Union voices the opinions of the majority of members.
