Department of Salaries, Pensions and Conditions of Employment
 

The members of the Department of Salaries, Pensions and Conditions of Employment are: the National President or Vice-President, the General Secretary and six members elected by the National Executive.

The Department’s main responsibility is to respond to advisory documents which are related to the pay, pensions and conditions of service of teachers and lecturers. This Department also prepares and presents annual evidence to the School Teachers’ Pay Review Body. The Department’s Secretary (or the relevant Field Officer) is responsible for answering enquiries by Union members regarding salaries, pensions and conditions of employment.

UCAC's General Secretary, represents UCAC on a Teachers’ Panel of the Teachers’ Superannuation Working Party and the School Workforce Remodelling Working Party.
